Clinical Manager

Baptist Village Communities’ home health care services provider, Entrusted Hearts, is seeking a clinical manager to lead the team in the Oklahoma City area office. This is a full-time position and reports to the Entrusted Hearts Director.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides oversight of all client care services and team members. Delivers high-quality professional nursing care; performs technical nursing skills with a high degree of proficiency; and promotes the team approach in the delivery of client care. Executes physicians’ orders, and notifies physicians of necessary updates or changes in condition as appropriate. Completes documentation according to Medicare guidelines, and performs home visits as ordered.


  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull loads required
  • Able to tolerate rapid fluctuations in workload and varied distances of travel related to client visits
  • Must be able to tolerate possible exposure to body fluids, chemicals and hazardous equipment


  • Makes client and team member assignments
  • Coordinates client care and referrals
  • Assures client needs are continually assessed
  • Assures the development, implementation and updates of the individualized plan of care
  • Assesses the physical, psychological and social dimensions in order to plan client care
  • Implements and evaluates client care
  • Evaluates client’s status, nursing intervention and appropriateness of plan of care
  • Utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to client care
  • Supervises licensed professional nurses and certified home health aides
  • Develops certified home health aide care plans according to client needs
  • Maintains effective communication
  • Participates in QAPI program as requested
  • Supports and enhances the image of Entrusted Hearts by displaying a positive attitude


  • Graduate of accredited nursing school
  • Current RN license in the state of Oklahoma
  • BLS certification required
  • At least one (1) year of clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing with demonstrated knowledge of nursing theory, skills and practice
  • IV therapy skills preferred
  • At least two (2) years of nursing experience preferred


  • Must be able to work in an independent manner with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to set priorities, recognize and resolve problem situations
  • Must be flexible, self-motivated and able to get along well with others
  • Ability to be able to facilitate and support change
  • Must be motivated to remain current on Medicare, federal and state requirements for client care and documentation
  • Promotes the team approach to client care
