You can be a part of our ministry by giving. There are many forms of giving other than cash or check. Following is a list of some of the options available to donors who wish to support the ministry of Baptist Village Communities (BVC).
You can give by cash or check; you can choose “unrestricted”, which means your money will be used for the needs of the highest priority as determined by Baptist Village Communities, or “designated”, which means you select where and how the money is to be used. You can also give cash gifts through pledges which can be set monthly, quarterly or however you desire.
Card gifts are increasingly popular because they offer convenience and benefits. If you give with a card, you never have to pay postage, use Baptist Village-printed materials or lift a finger to donate. Your gifts are automatically withdrawn on the date or dates you specify with the information you provide. Some donors also receive benefits from their credit card company, such as mileage or cash back rewards. You can donate online now.
“The true widow, who is all alone, puts her hope in God and continues to pray night and day for God’s help.” – 1 Timothy 5:5 (New Century Version)
As we strive to accomplish the task that God has laid before us, we must look for ways to make our services available to all who wish to live in our Villages. Many residents have given their entire lives to service for the God’s Kingdom. The Assistance Fund provides an opportunity to give back and thank them for that service. One way to help meet the needs of these residents is through the Larry and Edwine Adams Assistance Fund.
The Fund was established to assist residents at Baptist Village Communities with daily living needs. It is our desire that anyone, regardless of finance, can live at a Baptist Village. This difference places Baptist Village in a unique position. Assistance Fund recipients blend into the community and receive the same amenities and services that other residents do.

Many employers will match your gift! We encourage everyone to find out if their place of employment offers these community incentives. Give Now.
Honor and Memorial Gifts
You can honor or memorialize your friend or loved one with a gift. Baptist Village Friends Team members will acknowledge the gift and notify the honored person or family of the memorialized person. To assist in this, you are asked to provide the full name of the honored or memorialized person, as well as the address of the person or family member to be informed of the gift.
Gifts in Kind
Gifts of royalties, mineral interests, medical equipment, antiques, works of art, jewelry, etc. can be given directly to Baptist Village Communities.
Planned Giving Options
Securities, Real Estate, Life Insurance, Endowments, Bequests, Trusts, Planned Gifts
Each planned gift is set up to suit the individual needs and lifestyle of the donor while providing Baptist Villages with a significant gift. This gifting style can provide you with significant tax benefits and incentives while enhancing the lives of neighbors for generations to come. The following planned giving options are available to you.
You may have marketable securities including stocks, bonds and mutual funds that you no longer need and wish to gift. You can make a gift of securities to the ministry through a number of convenient methods. Gifts of securities may allow capital gains taxes to be avoided if given or transferred to BVC directly.
Homes, farms, commercial property, rental property and other real estate can be given directly to Baptist Village. We can help you carefully plan this type of gift to ensure the best results for you and the neighbors you will help. BVC cannot assume liabilities that may be attached to certain gifts of property. Other tax implications may also need to be considered. To discuss such a gift, call the Development office.
You may own “paid-up” policies, the proceeds of which are no longer needed. In this situation, Baptist Village Communities can be made the owner and beneficiary. New policies may also be purchased, with Baptist Village Communities named as the beneficiary. In this case, the amount of the premium paid is tax-deductible.
Wills and Estates
You can give a gift that reaches into the future to enhance lives. Baptist Village Communities works closely with the Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma to assist those who need help planning. As a ministry to the people of Oklahoma, the Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma provides expense reimbursement to those who designate ten percent of their estate or $25,000 to Baptist Villages or a Southern Baptist cause. If you wish to discuss your estate, call the Development office. To visit The Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma website, click here
If you choose to set up a gift annuity, you will receive income for life or term of years and make a substantial gift to Baptist Village Communities. This income will have an interest rate based on your age, which is frequently above the rate paid by traditional investments. A percentage of the initial gift provides immediate tax deduction, and part of the income may also be tax-free.
Charitable Remainder Unitrust
We can help you set up a unitrust, which will benefit you and Baptist Village Communities. With a unitrust, the donor receives income for life or term of years. The income amount changes every year because it is re-valued annually and is based on a fixed percentage of the fair market value of the trust’s assets. The initial gift amount of the trust and the percentage of return must meet certain standards.
Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust
You can make a larger gift than you ever dreamed with an annuity trust. With this type of trust, the donor receives a set amount of income for life or term of years and sets the payment. The payment amount is chosen at the outset. The income payments are fixed based on starting valuation of the trust.
